Bo and Boyd had a terrific Spring Season with  6th at Pinetop II in Open Preliminary and a 6th at Pinetop Advanced in the Open Intermediate, both times finishing on their dressage score.

Southern Pines II Horse Trials was a triumphant return to the home court with a win in the Open Intermediate division and the award of the Page Schaumberg Trophy for Best Intermediate Horse.  They followed it up with a third in Open Intermediate at The Fork CIC*** and Horse Trials, a 5th place finish at the Fair Hill International CIC** and a 9th Place finish at the Jersey Fresh CCI**.

Bo's return to Windurra and Boyd has been marked by great success!  Third in the Open Intermediate at Maryland HT II, followed by a successful debut at Millbrook in Advanced with an 11th place finish. We also got word that Bo was selected for the 2011 Pan Am short list and was the top ranked alternate for this competition.  Bo and Boyd completed Plantation Fields HT at Advanced with a top ten finish after dressage out of 27! and a ninth place finish overall! After careful consideration of future plans for Bo with Boyd, we opted to withdraw him from the Pan Am list and head to Fair Hill CCI**.  A career best FEI score of 58, and a fabulous cross country round highlighted the weekend.  An unfortunate next to last rail kept this pair out of the top ten, but we are thrilled with his 15th place finish over 68 starters.

Bo is currently on winter break and will be spending the winter honing his dressage skills with Silva at the helm.  Looking forward to what 2012 will bring!

Bru, our newest addition, came to us directly off the track last August and spent the better part of the year chilling out, hacking in the woods and hanging out with the girls in the pasture.  In June he traveled to Windurra to start learning his next profession.  Boyd and the girls at Windurra have done a terrific job!  Consistent dressage scores in the upper 20s to low 30s, clear cross country and show jumping rounds have placed Bru in the ribbons on a regular basis.  His record includes a win with Caitlin Silliman at Bucks County and most recently, in his first training level effort with Boyd, a completion on his dressage score of 27.3 for second place at Waredaca.  He's the real deal!  Bru will be back at Pegasus Ridge in November to team up with Manny for the spring eventing season!

News Flash!
Bru and Manny debut at the Pinehurst Schooling Dressage Shows - scores of 30.7 and 32.75 on eventing tests place them first and fourth!
