A funky, funny cast-off from high goal polo, Cadillac came home to Pegasus Ridge in December of 2003.  Her recycle journey from burned out high goal mare to a top A grade polocrosse horse taught all of us patience and perserverance.  She carried Andrew from the ranks of junior players all the way to the top - earning several Best Horse awards.  To this day she is still the only horse never to be scored upon at USPC Championships, a fete she managed in July of 2004.  In the dictionary, under "equine heart" there is surely a picture of Cadillac.

Caddy left us in July of 2007.  The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears.  Godspeed, Cadillac.

2007 was a great year polocrosse at Pegasus Ridge!  Andrew once again represented the United States in international test match play against Australia.  The highlight was a test match on the Mall in Washington DC during the 4th of July holiday.  American Polocrosse Association Nationals were held in Pinehurst NC over Labor Day weekend and both guys got into the act!  Manny, just back from Iraq, played in both C Grade and the Masters division and earned a coveted belt buckle for the Master's division national championship.

Andrew played for Camp Stewart, a team out of Hunt, Texas and these juniors were HOT in B Grade play, finishing undefeated for the B grade national championship.  Andrew came away with the Best #2 in B grade award, as well as winning the APA Best Under 21 Rider award for 2007.

Both teams did well in regional play, with CPC winning the A Grade Championships at East Zone Regionals and coming in 2nd at B Grade.

2008 was equally successful with the Diemer boys making appearances in Texas to tune up. A trip to the Florida Winter Classic and International Masters tournament earned Manny a Best in Grade award and Andrew - on the winning A grade team an invite to South Africa.   Both played at the Tarheel Classic in May, Andrew earning a Best #2 in A Grade award.  He also debuted his newest polocrosse horse Chima, teaming up with his dad in B grade.  In June Andrew headed off to South Africa, once again representing the U.S. in international play.  A second trip to Texas in the fall, and the season finale in late October at East Zone Regionals completed the season.

2009 - Trips to Florida and Alabama as well as play here in North Carolina earned Andrew a #3 ranking in East Zone High Point U21.  We also added a new face to the mix with Pancha, a 12 year old Argentine mare who is successfully make the switch from field and arena polo to polocrosse.  She will make her debut at the Thank Goodness for Polocrosse tournament the end of November in Florida.
